Redbridge Labour

Redbridge Labour represents the Labour Party in the London Borough of Redbridge which covers Ilford, Barkingside, Hainault, Wanstead and Woodford.

The Labour Party in Redbridge won its first majority on the council in May 2014 by winning 35 out of the 63 seats.

In 2018, Redbridge Labour increased its majority by winning 51 seats. 

In 2022, Labour won another 7 seats on the council to make it 58.*

Monkhams ward in Woodford is now the only ward in the entire borough that does not have at least one Labour councillor.

The Labour administration in Redbridge has focused on reducing fly-tipping and litter, greater enforcement, world-class schools and care services and investing in its town centres.

Redbridge encompasses the parliamentary constituencies of Ilford North, Ilford South, and parts of Leyton & Wanstead and Chingford & Woodford Green.
